I have posted the legal documents relating to the court case over the disputed October 25, 2006 Special General Meeting on my Forum website. All in all, 19 major documents have been filed. These include:
- The Petition to the Court, filed by the Petitioners (the G7), which intiates the proceedings and spells out their intial position.
- Affidavits of various parties, which are used to affirm facts. These affidavits also contain a number of "exhibits," which are documents that will be used as evidence.
- Outlines: one outline of the Petitioners, and two outlines of the Respondents (given that we have two different lawyers). These outlines lay out, in brief, the legal arguments that each side will be making in support of their position.

It would be nice if someone could be so kind as to enumerate the contested/conflicting statements in the affidavits. But that would be quite a bit of work.
Good luck Titus. We're all rooting for you and the group.
We are indeed rooting for you, Titus But some of us are rooting for you - partially - so you can go back to being the much-needed chronicler of national student affairs and scandals rather than merely Smiter-of-Assholes at SFU. You have bigger fish to fry.
Good luck to you all tomorrow. I hope the Court upholds Forum's decisions and therefore, students' decisions and that the impeachments hold. And please indicate on your site how individuals may assist with funding the legal costs over this, thanks.
Best of luck Titus - fight the good fight.
Things are definitely getting interesting at McMaster. I am busy acting on information but am trying to post what I can: http://www.joeycoleman.ca/blog/
Yes... good hunting in the Supreme Court, Titus!
Thousands of students (SFU and beyond!) are pulling for you and your fellow Students for a Democratic University. If I have time Friday, I hope to drop by the court and watch a bit of the hearing. It'd be very nice to see justice done twice in one week (first Kwantlen this past Tuesday, and hopefully SFU tomorrow!)
I hereby declare the northwestern most tile in convo-mall a sovereign nation.
So what happened? December 1st has come and gone...
There's a summary posted at biscgrads.blogspot.com
the short story is that we wait until monday morning, at 9:30 or so, to hear the judge's decision.
